America's oldest natural history museum is hardly the dusty, out-of-touch place you might expect. Instead, live butterflies flit around a tropical habitat, children can touch dinosaur teeth and live animals, and a huge collection of "stuffed" animals from around the world is displayed in naturalistic settings.

Our favorite attraction, of course, is "Discovering Dinosaurs." Dinosaurs rule! Don't miss the Dinosaur Hall where you can see movies, computer videos, and reconstructed skeletons and models of these huge beasts, including a T. Rex. You can even dig for dino bones and earn about the people who work on real fossils.
