The boulevard known as
Benjamin Franklin Parkway is often
compared to the Camps-Elysees in Paris.
They are indeed, similar, with their
tree-lined expanses, flower beds and
fountains. The Parkway begins at Center
City, near City Hall,
and stretches out to Fairmount
Park. Along the way, it
passes many of Philadelphia's finest
cultural institutions, include Academy
of Natural Sciences,
the Franklin
Institute, the Rodin
Museum, and culminating
at the grand lady of them all, the Philadelphia
Museum of Art.
