Justin Timberlake was born on January 31, 1981 in Memphis Tennessee.  Timberlake was a big part of the teen pop revolution of the 1990s, starting by making a name for himself in the new “Mickey Mouse Club” together with others such as Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Later in Orlando Florida in 1996 Timberlake started his own band with fellow Mickey Mouse clubber JC. Chasez called NSYNC.  Their fan base became huge, especially with the teenage girl set, selling millions of copies of their self-titled debut album. After their third album Timberlake started recording as a solo artist and released “Jive” in November 2002.  The album came out the same year his very well publicized romance with Britney Spears came to an end. Seeking a more mature, less squeaky-clean boy band image, Timberlake changed his look and sound as he wrote and worked on his album “Justified” and then the more recent “FutureSex/LoveSounds,” which debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Chart.  He has had some success on TV and Film and is staring in the film “Alpha Dog.” Timberlake has been praised for his philanthropic efforts and has founded The Justin Timberlake Foundation that directs efforts in supporting music education and the arts in public schools as well as other musical causes.  Most recently Timberlake was in a long-term relationship with actress Cameron Diaz until early 2006.
