Lance Armstrong announces birth of son on Twitter

Armstrong, who won the Tour de France seven straight years after overcoming testicular cancer, posted this photo in a tweet about 11:15 p.m. EDT Thursday June 4, 2009 welcoming Max Armstrong to the world and announcing the baby weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 inches long. Both mother and baby are doing fine. Armstrong and his girlfriend, Anna Hansen, announced in December they were expecting a baby in June. Armstrong also has three children with his ex-wife, Kristin.
