yea, steph and eamon brokeup couple of weeks before the beijing olympics... but they do remain good friends tho.. i really hope that they got back together as they got some davensport appearance together for 4 days.... i'd discussed it in my blog if that girl kissing michael phelps is really Stephanie rice or not...he's got no time for a relationship right now, I think he'd rather just relax & hang out with his family & friends after the Olympics are done.I agree! Amanda, are you crazy!I'm so proud of Michael Phelps! Here is a nice, red-blooded, all American young man who had a goal, worked to achieve that goal and made his country proud. He didn't cheat, use drugs, get artificially pumped up or anything - he EARNED his 8 gold medals. I remember when Mark Spitz earned his 7 gold medals and my reaction was the same - another all American, red-blooded (good-looking) boy made good. They're not homosexuals trying to get married, they're n ot celebrity pinheads trying to make names for themselves by constantly going to rehab or getting pregnant without benefit of marriage. Mark and Michael show the true spirit of the Olympics - before they allowed professionals to play, before the Chinese used 12-year-olds, passing them off as 16-year-olds in gymnastics and before a gunman terrorized the games in 1996. But let me correct myself quickly: Atlanta wasn't the first time gunfire marred the Olympics. When Mark Spits won his 7 gold medals in Munich, a group of Palestinian terrorist thugs murdered 12 Israeli athletes. And Jim McKay (RIP) said, "They're all gone." It seems a lot longer than 36 years between Mark and Michael but their accomplishments will live on forever. These 2 men are people we can be proud of.
