Good Karma: Howard Stern's Charity Calendar
By JACK SWIKER
October 20, 2011
Howard Stern and wife Beth Stern have teamed up to help the North Shore Animal League America by raising funds for the organization through creation of a calendar for 2012.
Beth, who serves as spokesperson for the organization, posed with many adoptable Animal League shelter pets while Howard photographed Beth and the animals for the one-of-a-kind calendar.
Speaking on why she and Howard decided to create this calendar, Beth said, "Howard and I have found that our bulldog Bianca, and adopted cats Walter, Apple and Leon Bear, enrich our lives so much. We wanted to show our support for the many wonderful animals that can be found in shelters and through rescue groups. It is our hope that everyone considering an addition to the family next year will visit a local shelter and open their heart to a Mutt-i-gree. Each adoption is another animal life saved."
