The Insider caught up with Sharon Osbourne last night as she hosted the Grammy Foundation's 14th Annual GRAMMY Foundation Music Preservation Project event at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, which featured live musical performances and historical footage from preservation archives.
"It's really important to me because the Grammy Foundation is not just about giving Grammys to artists who are doing extremely well, it's about preserving music in general," she said about the benefit. "All the money tonight goes to people who are preserving American music."
Of course the talk turned to Adele, who's nominated for a whopping six Grammys, and the recent controversy caused by Karl Lagerfeld's comment that the British singing sensation is "too fat."

"It really offends me when I read things about Adele's weight, because you know what, she has one of the greatest voices of her generation," she said strongly. "She's not a supermodel, she's not a stripper, she's not an actress, she's herself -- she is Adele. .... It's like saying she's got smelly feet, does that alter her voice? Her talent is just immense. And all the people that talk about her weight, it's like, shame on them."
