Charlie Sheen: Back on the Big Screen
While repeats of Two and a Half Men still do gangbusters business for the smattering of networks that air the reruns in the pre-8 p.m. hours, it is still to be determined if audiences want to see a post-Winning Charlie Sheen on the big or small screen.
And although we have to wait until this summer to see how Charlie fares on FX's Anger Management, a new movie that he co-produced aims to test the big screen waters sooner than that.
She Wants Me, starring Sheen alongside Hilary Duff and Book of Mormon Tony nominee Josh Gad, revolves around a neurotic writer who gets into a tricky situation when an A-list actress shows interest in the role intended for his girlfriend. And while this new trailer reveals that Sheen is all-but-playing himself in this super-low-budget indie (you can always tell by the voice-over), it'll be interesting to see how it fares with fans.
