Michael Jackson's Nephew Releases New Single
The Grammy Awards sent out a clear message on Sunday night: The age of the "real" artist is upon us. After queen Adele and The Foo Fighters walked away with practically every major award, it seems like it might be the perfect time for Austin Brown to make his mark on the music scene.
Call me a crazy fangirl, but I decide what music I like based on, gasp, the music. Within the first minutes of hearing Austin Brown's Menage a Trois, I was dancing around my living room.
The song sounds like Austin doo-wopped himself into a room with Raphael Saadiq, Bruno Mars and Mayer Hawthorne.

Now for the extraordinary stuff: Austin is Michael Jackson's nephew, learned about musicality from Prince, gushed with me over his "auntie Janet," is a total babe, has awesome style, and is the nicest guy ever. Austin also runs a really cool blog filled with memories from growing up with the Jacksons, cool music and fashion.
But like I said, I judge music on music.
Austin is the real deal.
