OK, so the first part of that title is hyperbole, and the second part is a lie. And look, we LOVE Coldplay. We sincerely felt like we were on that dreary, despondent beach where they shot “Yellow,” it’s like “Fix You” was written expressly for us, and it’s obvious why Viva La Vida… (etc etc…) is getting all those much-deserved accolades.
But it’s also clear why Coldplay’s publicist should be promoted — our mailbox runneth over with magazines featuring Coldplay on the cover, always dressed in what looks like castoffs from a rogue hipster militia. Spin, Rolling Stone, and the July issue of Q.
Meanwhile, the Jonas Brothers have graced the covers of TV Guide, People and Tiger Beat, but do you think they’ll make the big-boy leap to the covers of old-school music rags like Rolling Stone and Spin once their new album, A Little Big Longer, comes out this August? After all, Joe is rocking the Coldplay military jacket in “Burnin’ Up.”
+ Catch the Jonas Brothers tomorrow on TRL, and tell us which magazine should feature the JBs on its next cover.

Katie Holmes is on the cover of Glamour magazine. Do you think the photo has been retouched?
