Open Letter to Courtney Love

We saw photos of you over the weekend where you look like a walking skeleton. We aren't entirely shocked when we see pictures like this -- maybe because we've seen them before. After all, your weight has yo-yoed up and down so many times, we can't even keep track anymore.

Your struggles over the years have been frequent, public, and messy. In 1992, Vanity Fair claimed you admitted to taking heroin while unknowingly carrying your daughter Frances Bean. You said your words were taken out of context, but you still had to fight the state for custody as a result. You won her back then, but are you still fighting for her? Because when we see pictures like that, we worry. Frances has already lost a father ... will she have to suffer the loss of her mother, too?
