See More... "The Insider" has obtained papers related to the custody of Kimora Lee and Russell Simmons' two daughters.

Kimora Lee has obtained sole legal and physical custody of their two young daughters, Ming, 8, and Aoki, 5. Russell will have visitation with the girls for one week every eighth week with additional summer vacation and holiday time. Kimora Lee will have the legal authority to make all decisions regarding their daughters' health, education and welfare.

Russell will pay Kimora Lee $20,000 per month per child, which will comprise all of his legal financial obligation to his daughters. Child support will be paid until each girl reaches age 19 1/2, becomes emancipated, dies, marries, becomes self-supporting, no longer lives with Kimora, joins the armed forces or if the court later orders otherwise. He is also required to purchase or lease a new car that is valued at no less than $60,000 for the use and benefit of his daughters. That car is required to be replaced every 24 months.

  • This lady is whacked!! This poor guy only gets to see his kids every 8 weeks!! and he HAS to have a vehicle that is valued at over $60,000???? my god, does that mean that all of us regular people with regular cars are driving our kids around safely. Come on get a grip!!!

  • He got off easy financially. Also, remember, the courts set visitation. They probably had good reason for the arraingment. And a $60,000 car is nothing for him. He has an empire. No matter what you think of Kimora as a person, what Kimora and the girls are getting financially from Russell is just a token. $20,000 probably won't even cover their private school costs. I hope as a dad he'll do more for the girls behind the scenes and if he is a good dad hopefully Kimora will let him see the girls more.

  • Ive wacthed kimora´s show, i think she is a great mom. There is no manual on how to be the best parent. They all learn as they go along, and she is doing the best that she can under their circumstances. Let Kimora be!

  • First off,i just wanna say that she is a money hungry bleep..If it wasn't 4 him she wouldn't be where she is 2day.Then 40k is 2 much to be payin in child support,an he don't even get 2 see them but every 2 mnths. Not 2 mention they can't drive.That's just an excuse to get her a new ride every 2 yrs.This was all in her plans 2 begin with,get a man with money,marry him,have a baby or two,then divorce and take his money.He got played.He ain't that cute n-e-way.He should of known betta.

  • What has Russell done so bad that he only gets to see his daughters once every 8 weeks? I don't know Kimora or Russell personally, but I do know that they both are ugly to people. I have seen them on TV being ugly to people. Does that make Russell a bad father? Kimora should be ashamed of herself. She shouldn't be ugly like that. Russell is the girls father. She doesn't need a car every two years. You can't buy happiness, but you can buy misery.

  • The American court system is so screwed up! We have court-tv judges and reality shows now that contribute to the decisions made in the real courts. Russell had money, long before Kimora Lee was even heard of. In fact, it was his money that made her who she is. The reality show was her ticket to getting sole custody of the girls. I hope he appeals the judges decison, he's a much better man than she is a woman. She's a shark!

  • Another example of how Black men are unjustly treated in the American court system. Russell was wealthy and established when he met Kimora Lee. It was he and his money that made her who she is. How can a court only give a man of his status visits such as he has been given. One visit out of eight weeks! He has never stopped supporting Kimora's high life-style. If the courts are watching her reality shows, they should also notice the influence that she has over her daughters, and ask themselves what she might do or say to them to coach them into saying what she wants them to. However, just like everything else in the American court system, this too is about money. The courts will make a bundle off of appeals. Unfortunately though, again... Russell will be stiffed with the bills.

  • i don't like her, never have never will. if the courts set this amount then so be it, but russell should have left her a@* where he found her. she would be a nobody without him. she's making a lot of money on baby phat and i'm sure her reality show is paying her. money is the root of all evil. she'll have to answer for her ways soon enough.

    She has always made her OWN money- It was NOT him that made her what she is today, she did this all on her own. Russell was married to her and had two daughters out of that marriage therfore it is his responsibility to pay his child support.

    These girls will grow up on more therapy than I had. Their limited visitation is going to become just shopping and more shopping, with more shopping to make them feel better for all the that Yummy Mummy is putting them through. Ming's child support will last until 2019 or 2020, when Russell will have spent about $2.4 million on child support on her. By 2023, 14 years from now, Russell will have spent $3.5 million on Aoki's child support, $5.9 million total between the two kids over 14 and a half years. That amount is a fraction of Russell Simmons' electric bills over the same period of time, especially if the rates go up. And $60,000 for a car? In 14 years, assuming the current rate of inflation, that amount will probably buy a Mini Cooper, or at least a small BMW. After 14 years of inflation, that figure balloons to $87,641.

    $20K/month is just enough to guarantee a quiet upper middle-class lifestyle for these poor little spoiled girls if Yummy Mummy keeps spending like she does...
