Paris Hilton, Hollywood's serial plaintiff, decided to file criminal charges against a British Airways employee on Friday, and the cheeky party girl isn't complaining about her English muffin.Paris claims she was whoring, ahem, we meant "hopping" across the Globe before ending up at Los Angeles International Airport. The professional socialite (which is really just another phrase for an unemployed, rich kid who smells like old money) sent her designer overnight bag through the scanner at LAX. What's the big deal, right? Well now Paris claims the baggage screener swiped her wristwatch, reportedly worth several thousand dollars. Oh sure, Paris, blame your missing watch on a twenty-six year old who still shops at Forever 21.
We aren't sure whether we should be peeved that Paris is targeting members of the working class or if we should be irritated that the security worker didn't take something more interesting and valuable like her knickers. After all, a lifted pair of Paris' panties could go for at least a few thousand on Ebay.
Did Paris do the right thing by pressing charges against the British Airways employee? Or is she completely out of line- and just trying to keep her name in the press?
