Depp’s Daughter’s Illness Discovered

You may recall that earlier this month, Johnny Depp’s seven-year-old daughter was hospitalized in London, but there was little info about why she was checked in. It had some Depp fans feeling down-and-out because the whole hush-hush nature had people fearing the worst. Then they told us that Lily-Rose had stepped on a rusty nail which caused blood poisoning. Seems little Lil had something more serious – the E. coli virus.

Nothing funny about that, folks. We can only imagine what a scare this must have been for Depp and girlfriend/mother, Vanessa Paradis. Depp, in fact, was rumored to have been at her bedside every day as she recovered (this makes us love him even more). And then a production crew member of Depp’s upcoming film, Sweeney Todd, leaked that Lily’s kidneys shut down as a result of the virus.

The Tim Burton film had halted production while Depp’s daughter got better and will begin filming next week. We take daddy returning to the set as a good sign that she is in much better health now.

Should Depp and Paradis have disclosed what was wrong with Lily-Rose for fans’ peace of mind, or  were they acting in their child’s best interest? Either way, we’re glad she’s feeling better.

  • I do believe that celbs have every right to privacy but their fans share their happiness and their grief so......I myself would really just liked to have known that Lily Rose Depp was going to make a full recovery but did not need the details....

  • Celebrities don't really owe their public anything.
