Theater Named After Heath Ledger

Heath Ledger's legacy lives on in Perth, Australia.

Ledger had a theater named after him today in his hometown. The $87 million, 575-seat theater is now named Heath Ledger Theater.

Western Australia state Premier alan Carpenter said, "Heath Ledger was totally dedicated to the craft of being an actor and that's what made him successful. I think what we're doing is continuing that support for young people who want to make a career in the arts and acting, stage and in film, whatever it happens to be."

What a lovely touch. And to top it off, Ledger's last film role in Batman is coming to GREAT reviews and continues to sell out well before it hits the big screen later this month.
