Angelina Jolie is in a French hospital, "The Insider" has confirmed.

Nadine Bauer, a spokesperson for the Lenval Hospital in Nice, France, says Jolie's admittance to the hospital's maternity wing had been planned for some time. In a subsequent statement, Bauer added that the actress is under the supervision of Dr. Michael Sussman, and that Sussman, as her obstetrician/gynecologist, is, according to the spokesperson, "the only hospital official authorized to provide any further medical information and will do so as such information becomes available."
