Angelina Jolie's doctor to give report

The Associated Press
PARIS (AP) _ Angelina Jolie's obstetrician is giving a news conference to talk about his famous patient and her eagerly awaited twins.

The seafront Lenval hospital in Nice, on the French Riviera, says Jolie has checked into its Santa Maria maternity clinic to be kept under doctors' watch and rest up before she gives birth.

The clinic has invited reporters to a news conference later Wednesday with Dr. Michel Sussmann.

A hospital spokeswoman has said that the births were "not for right away." But spokeswoman Nadine Bauer has said the actress will almost certainly stay in the clinic until then.

Jolie, her partner Brad Pitt and their four children have been settling into a new home about 60 miles (100 kilometers) from Nice.

  • WHY DOES THE MEDIA THINK THAT THE WHOLE WORLD CARES ABOUT ANGELINA? THERE ARE REALLY MORE IMPORTANT THINGS GOING ON IN THE WORLD AND ALL THIS CELEBRITY BUZZ JUST TAKES UP SPACE THAT COULD BE USED FOR WORTHWHILE NEWS.
