CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (AP) _ Christie Brinkley is at a Long Island, New York, courthouse for the start of her divorce trial from her fourth husband.Brinkley arrived at state Supreme Court in Central Islip shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday.
She opposed a move by a legal guardian for her children that would have closed the proceedings to the public.
Brinkley filed for divorce from architect Peter Cook in 2006 after reports surfaced that he had an affair with 18-year-old Diana Bianchi. Bianchi is expected to be among the first witnesses at the trial.
