David Hernandez Talks About His 'Idol' Ousting

The 24-year-old from Glendale, AZ, talks to Cheryl Woodcock about his early exit.

DAVID HERNANDEZ talks to "The Insider"'s CHERYL WOODCOCK about his "American Idol" ousting following his performance on Tuesday night of the LENNON/McCARTNEY tune, "I Saw Her Standing There."

"I was definitely shocked," he tells Cheryl. He adds that he expected to be in the bottom three, but not to be the first to make an exit.

As for his experience on the search for the next singing sensation, he says, "It taught me a lot about self-confidence."
