The 'Maxim' pin-up talks about her sexy new series.

She calls herself the "Most Popular Person" on MySpace and now TILA TEQUILA NGUYEN is talking to our CHERYL WOODCOCK about her new MTV reality show, "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila," (10 p.m. Tuesdays), in which 16 guys and 16 girls compete for the bisexual pin-up's affections.

"I feel like, if I bond with someone, if it's a woman and, you know, she makes me happy and loving and a better person, then why not?" Tila says about being open to both sexes.

The 25-year-old from Singapore says she has known she was bi since she was five years old.

"I guess I was born that way, you know? I just, when you're that young, you don't know that, 'Oh my gosh, I'm bisexual, or is this sex, is this wrong or right?' You know, you just feel like, this is love and it's nice and I just didn't feel like, I felt like it was normal, because, you know, it's just how I felt growing up."

The show, which premiered on Oct. 9th, has already stirred up controversy for its risque antics.

"There's been a lot of fights, and just having two females fighting over you and, you know females, we're so much more emotional and it's not like when the guys fight," she says. "With the girls, there's a lot of, like, feelings involved and there's lots of crying and you know it's just, it was really hard. It was kind of heartbreaking to see them fight because it's like their hearts are being broken, and I'm the one who did that, but I didn't mean to and it's just like this whirlwind of, crazy emotions, you know?"
