Ebony's Eight of the Coolest Black Men

and why the hell.............is Jay-Z one?

THIS....is not the personification of COOL.

However, SOMEBODY over at Ebony Magazine thought to see it fit that he be apart of this 8 edition collectors set that's about to come out.

7 out of 8 aren't bad:

Obama - GREAT shot! His presence is DEFINATELY a sting for people like Al Sharpton who will NEVER understand why voters will never take him serious.
Billy D Williams - Hell to the yeah, cosignin' with a back flip and er-thang! I know exactly why black women in the 70's swooned over that man.

Prince - Nuff' said. Any with Doe Eyes like that man who can STILL pull a bad chick is despite bein' a size negative 2 in high-hills is the POSTER CHILD of cool.
Marvin Gaye - Nobody could sing Distant Lover like this man

Denzel Washington - Another AWESOME picture. He's effortless. From the first time I seen him in Glory, jerkin' that tattered shirt off so he could take that whupping on his bad, I KNEW he was cool.

Samuel L. Jackson - They can miss me with that one. Confident? Yes. Can he yell good? Yes. Personification of cool? That's up for debate.

Muhammad Ali - Before he took one too many shots to the dome, yeah he exuded confidence like no other.

& then we come to this last choice * sighs*
Jay-Z - Money doesn't automatically make you cool. He doesn't possess the quiet swag that was Billy D or Prince and havin' Superhead and Carmen Bryan suck easy on you does NOT automatically make you a ladies man. This ain't nothin' but a charity vote. Hell, if they wanna get technical and include someone who had swag in their PAST like Muhammad Ali, then damnit this spot should have went to none other than:

Now HE was cool
