Salma may have dated hotties like Edward Norton and Josh Lucas in the past, but it was deep pockets that finally won her over. Her soon-to-be baby's daddy is ultra-rich French businessman François-Henri Pinault.
The baby and marriage will both be firsts for Salma, though her intended was previously married and has two kids. He's no stranger to Hollywood either, though, having dated Nicole Kidman in the past.
François-Henri (does she just call him Frank?) is the CEO of a little old company called PPR. It's French for something, we promise, but the gist is that company owns Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, and pretty much every other designer label that you covet.
That's just their luxury goods, though. It seems that PPR also owns everything else in the world of retail goods, including Converse, Samsonite, cosmetics brands, watch companies, a department store chain, Christie's auction house, a winery, some newspapers….well, you get the idea.
So, while François-Henri may not be matinee idol material on the surface, we're sure there's plenty for Salma to love. We expect Salma to keep looking glam the entire time she's expecting and beyond with her newfound Mr. Right.
