Madonna & A-Rod: Your Thoughts?

Alex Rodriguez's wife, Cynthia, filed for divorce this morning in Miami -- citing extramarital affairs as grounds for the split!

While Madonna is not named in the divorce papers, one of Cynthia's lawyers, Maurice Kutner, told The New York Post that his "relationship with Madonna was the latest situation in a series of events" that ended the marriage.

Meanwhile, Madonna's rep says she and hubby Guy Ritchie have "no plans to divorce" amidst rumors the material mom is having an affair with the New York Yankees star.

In a statement to People, Madonna denied the affair, saying they know each other through their manager.

  • If anything I'm on A-Rod's side. I believe A-Rod an Madonna when they say nothing happened. To me I think A-Rod's wife is taking advantage of the situation because he has all the money, and she is just looking for a reason to divorce him so she can...

  • I think its a shame that the media is focusing this much on something that is obviously a painful subject for Cynthia. That said I do not believe Madonna could be capable of hurting a family like that. It goes everything she believes in
