Day Three: Christie Brinkley Divorce Trial

"The Insider" was there as Christie Brinkley and her estranged husband Peter Cook arrived at a Long Island, NY courthouse Monday morning for day three in their divorce trial. Cook arrived alone and didn't speak to the press, while Christie was all smiles, even offering kind words to the media.

"I hope you all had a happy Fourth of July," she said. "I'm looking forward to my independence day."

Soon after arriving, Christie took the stand and even broke into tears when talking about everything from her upbringing, to her career, to her role as a mother, saying she has not dated since her split with Cook.

"I haven't even thought about dating," she said. "[I'm] just focused on getting the kids through this painful time."

Christie went on to testify that she allegedly witnessed Cook discipline the kids in a rough way and that Cook did not like to have dinner with the kids. She also testified that he would give preferential treatment to his biological daughter Sailor.
