Vanessa Hudgens Opens Up on Radio

'High School Musical' star Vanessa Hudgens told ABC's Good Morning America radio show that she relied on her fans and family to get through a scandal involving nude photos leaked online.

When asked about last year's photo incident, she thanked her supporters and loved ones for giving her strength. "My fans were amazing because they have stood by my side. They really are my core group. My family's always there for me. I just surround myself with good people and try to think of good things. ... I think people thought I took it lighter than I really did."

On her relationship with boyfriend and teen heartthrob Zac Efron, the 19-year-old Disney star had little to say, but she did confirm things are going well. "It's good, thank you."

Vanessa has no plans of slowing down, with a state fair tour seet to begin in August in conjunction with her album Identified.  You can catch the entire interview at ABCNews.com.

  • I undersand her. I'm sure she took it quite hard. I would have hated myself if I was her. So I understand what she says. I just look forward for High School Musical 3 and many more movies from her. Also her music is good.
