Alex Rodriguez's lead legal counsel, Alan Kluger, spoke to "The Insider" today about his client's pending divorce from estranged wife Cynthia.Kluger told "The Insider," "This is tough for Cynthia and Alex." The lawyer stressed that he and his client want to handle the divorce as privately as possible. He noted, "We will act in the best interest of their daughters."
Cynthia filed for divorce in Florida on Monday, July 7, and Kluger said, "We will respond to their suit by the end of next week."
The pair married in 2002 and have two young girls.
