Russell Brand talks his way out of a parking ticket
Silver-tongued comedian/lothario Russell Brand seems to be able to make knickers drop at a word, but this time around, he wasn't practicing his gift of gab on the lasses.

Instead, he turned some of that mercurial Gemini wit on a London parking warden, and talked himself right out of a ticket.

Russell, 33, and his new squeeze, actress Teresa Palmer, 22, were out for lunch in trendy Hampstead, but as they strolled back to Russell's car, Russell spotted a traffic warden standing by the illegally-parked black Mercedes Benz, just about to write out a traffic ticket.

So he turned on the mega-watt smile, saying, "You don't wanna give me that!"

Five minutes later, Russell and the grinning traffic cop walked off, arm in arm -- and after a few more jollies, Russell and his fair-haired lady vroomed away.

Russell's got a reputation for sweet-talking the ladies, but -- traffic cops? It's a miracle he can even get Cheerios down his face in the morning, what with that chunk of Blarney Stone wedged in his crop.

Anyway, though, if you're gonna go around illegally parking your Benz in London, there's one guy you oughta keep on speed dial...
