"The Insider" confirms the news that Katie Holmes has returned to TV, filming a cameo appearance on the new ABC series "Eli Stone" Tuesday.  Tom Cruise and the adorable Suri spent the afternoon with her at L.A.'s Union Station, as Katie got the chance to play a singing and dancing attorney for the new role. Stephen McPherson, President of ABC Entertainment, tells "The Insider" today that Katie was fabulous! "It is a great role for her. There is some singing and dancing she does ... she is exquisite."

 

"We were talking about the beginning of the season," exec producer Greg Berlanti adds. "And we wanted to bring eyeballs to the show and get people who haven't seen the show...and I said, I can go and ask Katie. I went and begged her. We talked a little bit about her role...It is not a one scene-two scene role; she has a significant role."

Despite their busy day, the star couple prove they're A-list parents, with Katie taking a break to feed Suri from a bottle and Tom hoisting his barefoot little girl around in a fatherly embrace.

  • every picture - no matter where or what the weather- the parents are wearing long sleeves and or jackets and their kid is half naked no shoes and a blanket--wash her feet and put some sandals (at least) on that kids--she could use a sippy cup soon 2!

  • I agree with you first two...my first thoughts were " They STILL are trying to wean her from her bottle?" Apparently, they have been trying since January, when I first read about it. I can't believe that out of everything they have, they don't have the help of someone to help them to have Suri withdrawl from the bottle. I can hear Suri's screaming now! lol :)

  • Katie I realize this is your first child and you're playing it by ear, you believe that the bottle won't hurt Suri, and that this is her security. But it will ruin her teeth and later she'll be teased. You may have tried taking it away from her and hearing her cry broke your heart but the cry will stop, you know you have to be the one to take it away from her because if your thinking that she'll give it up on her own, let me tell you that isn't going to happen anytime soon, even if you would have her drink from a sippy cup in the day and continue the bottle at night wean her off slowly, you'll see it will get easier. Take care I think both you and Tom are great together.
