Someone Wants to Steal Brangelina’s Kids

Some people will follow any get-rich-quick plan. Sure, we'd all like to have a million bucks in the bank but would you go as far as kidnapping a celeb's kid? Apparently, the answer is yes.

A recent (and credible) plot to steal Angelina's newest child, Pax, a three-year-old from Vietnam, was foiled.   The kidnapping was scheduled to take place when Jolie arrived back in the states with the little guy. And the ransom? $100 million dollars for his return.

Can you imagine how this would have traumatized poor, little Pax? Because of this threat, Brad Pitt spent a fraction of the ransom price on a new state-of-the-art security system for their New Orleans home- a mere $500,000.

Yes, friends, this is chump change for the Jolie-Pitts but even so, isn't little Pax worth it?

And at the rate of their adoptions, these parents are going to have to sign up to make at least one sequel to Mr. & Mrs. Smith in order to afford tightened security and bodyguards for every kid.

Although perhaps Brad-n-Angie should not be blowing cash on keeping everyone safe from kidnapping. Think of the upside. He and Angelina could start bidding wars on photos of their rescued children- after all, selling pics seems to be their side business.

Do you think it's tacky that Angelina sold pictures of Pax for $2 million dollars? Should she have forgone the money (even if she donated it) for the sake of his sanity- after all he is in a new culture, surrounded by a new language and family?

  • Which is WHY most people keep their kids out of the press. They don't talk much about them in interviews, they certainly don't do mag spreads, or drag them publicly thru airports, and will change their lifestyle to accomodate them.

  • This is why Brad and Angie keep their children close by. I don't blame them not leaving their children at home, well they are of filming.
