Joel Madden promoted "Good Morning Revival" by reassuring adoring Disney fans that he didn't give Hilary Duff the boot for a skinny chick that passes out. And that he and Hilary are still friends.
What's his take on the Hilary breakup?
"I tried to just continue to live my life. People can say or think whatever they want... I'm the kind of person that does the right thing and keeps my side of the street clean."
And of course Joel said that he and Hilary have a "great relationship." We wonder how Joel's rumored fiancee, Nicole Richie, feels about that. Although, we don't think he's telling the truth. After all, how many ex's do you have a good relationship with?
"Every girl I've ever dated I have respect for, and I always try to leave them in good terms. I don't see the necessity to be friends with anyone you've dated but definitely out of respect of the time, you have to be kind of respectful and that's what I try to do."
Joel was bit more tight-lipped about his possibly LA County Jail bound girlfriend, Nicole:
"I don't really talk about her at all but I will say I am really happy and everything's really good for me right now."
So life's good huh, Joel? That's interesting considering you could be joining your new honey in an orange jumpsuit. The LA Police Department began investigating Joel for going upside the head of a female paparazzi. Nice, huh?
Personally, we love Nicole but think he should give Hilary one last chance- who do you think he's better suited with?
