And Then There Were 9... Idols

We were all ready to write our ‘So Long Sanjaya’ piece, but alas, Sanjaya sees the light of another  week on Idol. Yes, it is true. We couldn’t believe it either, but no truer words ever passed through the lips of Seacrest. And Sanjaya didn’t even make it into the bottom three, which was the strangest twist of all.

We’ll say one thing for Sanjaya – his kooky coif was all the buzz on the Internet after his Idol performance. The faux-hawk was a clever diversion from the poor singing, and we can’t help but think it earned him some votes. Heck, even Ryan came out on stage with his own wig version.

So, who got cut? We could do a Seacrest and drag it out a little longer- perhaps telling you more about the previous night’s recap, the Idol Ford commercial, the Gwen Stefani performance (who gave us a horrible lip synced performance we might add), or the rundown of who was safe. But we won't put you through the pain.

Bottom three was Phil, Haley and Chris Sligh. And this week was Chris' turn to go.

We’re starting to wonder if Sanjaya can go the distance. We think America is rebelling, and actually voting for the worst to stay. Is it possible people are keeping him on the show just because it's funny?

 Goodbye Chris.
