Hike in Britney Spears' Child Support Payments?

A source is claiming to People magazine that as part of Britney's custody settlement with Kevin Federline, the pop star supposedly could owe her ex $20,000 a month in child support -- a hike from the reported $15,000 she used to pay.

The mag's source also claims that K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has been compensated to the tune of $250,000 in legal fees for the case.

On Friday, Kaplan told "The Insider" that he suspects the Court will approve Britney and K-Fed's settlement agreement in the days to come.

  • I hope Britney is getting receipts for the $20k, if I were her I'd want proof that my money was being spent on my two sons and not on Shar and her two children by Kevin Federline.

  • I feel that the child support does not need to be that much. These kids do not have to have everything they want as long as they have the the important things then you are ok. He is just trying to get her money and she needs tko grow up and realize...

  • I totally don't get it either... why does he need so much money. I have two kids and they do not cost me 20,000.00 no matter how much money someone makes thats just crazy!
