See More... A source is claiming to People magazine that as part of Britney's custody settlement with Kevin Federline, the pop star supposedly could owe her ex $20,000 a month in child support -- a hike from the reported $15,000 she used to pay.

The mag's source also claims that K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has been compensated to the tune of $250,000 in legal fees for the case.

On Friday, Kaplan told "The Insider" that he suspects the Court will approve Britney and K-Fed's settlement agreement in the days to come.

I totally don't get it either... why does he need so much money. I have two kids and they do not cost me 20,000.00 no matter how much money someone makes thats just crazy!

I feel that the child support does not need to be that much. These kids do not have to have everything they want as long as they have the the important things then you are ok. He is just trying to get her money and she needs tko grow up and realize that she is a mother and you cannot go out partying and drinking and leaving our kids she got what she deserved and that was losing them until she can prove to her kids and family that she is a responsible adult and can provided her kids saftey and loving home.

Why don't Britney get a good attorney like Gloria Allred. Laura was a good lawyer, but unfortunately she was no match for K-Fed's attorneys.

I hope Britney is getting receipts for the $20k, if I were her I'd want proof that my money was being spent on my two sons and not on Shar and her two children by Kevin Federline.
