LINDSAY LOHAN AND SAMANTHA RONSON: FINALLY COMING OUT?

When Samantha Ronson, who had been in Las Vegas for a dee-jaying gig, arrived on the LA set of Lindsay’s movie Labor Pains on July 10, Lindsay rushed toward her, not caring who saw. “Lindsay was just so happy to see Sam,” an onlooker tells Life & Style. “You could see she’d really, really missed her.” As they headed off set, the couple — who in the past have gone out of their way to hide their physical affection — tenderly brushed hands. “Sam took control,” the witness recalls. “And Lindsay just followed suit.”

What Lindsay and Sam chose to show the world that day is something their friends have been aware of since April — when Lindsay, 22, and Sam, 30, first started dating. And while most of Hollywood’s wondering if the relationship is an act, Lindsay’s inner circle believes it’s the real deal. “Everyone knows they’re together and in love,” says a pal of Lindsay’s. And lately Lindsay’s been too happy to hide it. Not only has she practically moved in with Sam, the actress has also started declaring her feelings to everyone she contacts. According to the friend, nearly all of Lindsay’s BlackBerry Messenger notes — which can be read by anyone on Lindsay’s e-mail list — are about Samantha. On July 11, the day after her reunion with Sam, Lindsay’s feelings were clear. “LL loves you, baby! I miss you!” her BlackBerry note read, says the pal.
