Batman! The Dark Knight broke several records over the weekend as it brought in a weekend total of $158.3 million.

The film scored the biggest three-day opening in box-office history.

Batman Begins has only brought in a total of $205.3 million, by comparison, since it was released in 2005.

Now you can call that the most anticipated film of the century. Heath Ledger surely is smiling down!
