Jimmy Fallon Will Start Late Night Gig Online

It was announced today that Jimmy Fallon will be officially taking over Late Night, when Conan O'Brien prepares to head to the Tonight Show, in the spring of 2009.

Prior to his move into the studios of Late Night, he will begin honing in on his talk show duties by hosting a shorter internet version of his new gig this fall on NBC.com.

The webisodes are expected to run Monday through Friday and last around five or ten minutes with an online air time of 12:30 AM.

Isn't it amazing where the internet has brought us in just a short 10-years???

Conan will then begin his new Tonight Show gig from a brand new stage in Los Angeles on June 1, one day after Leno leaves his gig and studios behind.
