It seems all is not well in Gotham these days for Christian Bale. The Dark Knight star has been accused of assault by…get this now…his mother and sister. The trio were in London for the premiere of Christians’ ridiculously successful Dark Knight film when a heated argument broke out between the star and his family.
According to the paper, Bale “lashed out” on Sunday night at Park Lane’s Dorchester Hotel, where he had a suite.
His mother Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40, reportedly lodged the complaint at a police station in Hampshire yesterday.

Authorities will be question Bale today since they felt there was no pressing need to disrupt the red carpet premiere of his movie. Should be interesting to see what tricks he has on his utility belt to spin this one. My guess is Bale was on edge and just had a bad night. If people filed assault charges for every shouting match the police wouldn’t get any work done.
