Conan O'Brien to Take Over Jay Leno's Spot on The Tonight Show

Funny man Conan O'Brien won't be home at night any more when he new job starts.  4 year old Neve and 2 year old Beckett won't expect much change in Daddy's schedule once he takes over next June 1st, 2009 as the host of The Tonight Show.

The kids can expect a move though.  O'Brien just purchased a $10.5 million dollar home in Los Angeles to prepare for the new position.

Jimmy Fallon is poised to take over O'Brien's "Late Night" in March or April of 2009, after honing his approach in brief Internet shows, Silverman and Graboff said.

O'Brien will wrap his "Late Night" run sometime in the first quarter of the year, with exact dates to be determined, the executives said. O'Brien reruns will fill the gap until Fallon takes over.
