Heath Ledger: Will He Win An Oscar?!
The new Batman movie, The Dark Knight, has been making a ton of money!  Most people are really praising the work Heath Ledger did in that movie.  I have not seen the movie yet, but I will this weekend!  I can’t wait!  It seems as though this movie has really turned into almost a tribute for the late Heath Ledger.  In fact, there is serious talk of Heath getting an Oscar for his role in the movie.  Heath’s co-star, Maggie Gyllenhaal, really believes he should be given an award for this role.

“Degree of difficulty be incorporated into the award.”

Maggie also said:

“To be that incredible in a movie that’s this huge, that’s about so many things, is really an accomplishment,” she said. “In a way I feel funny thinking about the Oscars when he isn’t alive, but at the same time I’m a member of the Academy and I would vote for him.”

Regarding Heath’s performance, she said:

“In order to be a good actor you have to find a place where you are free, but it’s very unusual to be absolutely free in the way that he was in this movie It was inspiring working with him.”

I totally think he should be given an award!!  He was a GREAT actor.  I will probably have more of an opinion after I see the movie though!

  • i went and seen the dark night it was a great movie and heath ledger played an awsome joker he was superb and i think he should get an oscar for this movie he was an awsome joker and i miss him already he was a good actor and he will be missed by...
