Shayne Lamas Won The Bachelor Matt Grant's Heart
Days after re-affirming their love on national TV, Matt Grant and Shayne Lamas have split, according to People.com. The two issued a statement saying: "We tried hard to make it work but we realized that we were both heading in different directions. We truly care about each other and will remain close friends."

Matt proposed to aspiring actress Shayne on the season finale of "The Bachelor: London Calling" with a $60,000, 2.85-carat Tacori platinum and diamond eternity ring. But after rumors in the press, the couple appeared together on the finale of sister show, "The Bachelorette," to deny that they had since broken up.

"Matt is such a wonderful man that he allows me to have my freedom and to keep my friends that I already have," Shayne said. "So if I'm out with my group of friends, of course they're going to be like, 'Shayne is now dating blah, blah, blah.'  You can't believe everything that you read, and I'm sure people know that."

  • They are making an adorable couple though the guy ever joined the rich men seeking affairs club ^^^.c om a few weeks ago..but all are past and they will stay together forever!

  • OH I knew she was in it for the publicity. If you have a famous dad and not going anywhere in the movie biz the first thing you want to do is get on tv to get your face out there. I knew it was doomed from the start. Aren't most of them here lately....
