It has just been announced that Russell Brand is hosting this years VMA's in LA on September 7th.

Russell is the first Brit to have hosted the show before.

The real buzz is if Britney will attend as she has got two nominations for Best Female Video (Gimme More & Piece Of Me)

The finalists for Best Female Video are announced on FNMTV tonight. Fingers crossed Brits one of them she deserves to finally win a VMA.
