Ethan Hawke, 37, got married in a civil ceremony to his girlfriend Ryan Shawhughes, 27, last month in NY before the birth of their first baby. Shawhughes was the nanny to Hawkes two older children when he was with his ex, actress Uma Thurman, although they supposedly didn’t hook up until after his marriage was over and she was no longer working for the family. The two had daughter Clementine Jane Hawke last Friday, and the paparazzi were there to snap the week-old baby’s first public photo as she was taken outside in New York today. You can see Hawke smiling like he can’t help but be proud, and that’s a huge change from the pissed-off look he usually gives the paparazzi. There was more than one photographer there too because these weren’t exclusive photos. I guess we can assume that Ethan and Ryan won’t be posing in the pages of People with Clementine anytime soon if they’re not bothering to cover her up. They don’t seem like the type to do that even if they could use the month.
Ryan looks great after just having had a baby a week ago. Clementine is so cute and tiny and it kind of makes my womb hurt to look at her.
