Britney Nominated for Best Female Video!

Will it be "Hit Me Baby One More Time" for Britney Spears at the 2008 VMAs? The busy pop star's "Piece of Me" has just been nominated for Best Female Video -- as voted online by the fans -- for the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, airing live from Paramount Studios in Hollywood on September 7.

Only "The Insider" has the complete list nominees for Best Female Video: Britney's up against tough competition in Katy Perry ("I Kissed a Girl"), Jordin Sparks ("No Air"), Rihanna ("Take a Bow") and Mariah Carey ("Touch My Body").

Last year Britney delivered a controversial "comeback" performance at the VMAs in Las Vegas that some described as lackluster, leaving the open question: Will Britney perform live at the show this year -- and will it win the world over?

I think its a good thing...the video/lyrics are very good...I think it might actually help her realize there are still fans out there waiting for her to make the comeback that we all know she can do!! GO FOR IT BRIT!
