The ENTIRE Celebrity Media Convinced Themselves that Lindsay Lohan was Sideswiped by a Motorcycle

 But apparently that was entirely fabricated, presumably by a very unambitious prankster.

The first story came about from the NY POST. They wrote:

It could have been the worst clip of her career.

In another chapter of her vehicular vicissitudes, Lindsay Lohan was hospitalized early yesterday in Midtown after a motorcyclist sideswiped her following a night of clubbing, sources said.

With sapphic sidekick Samantha Ronson by her side, Lohan wa by a moving bike “outside a club on 32nd Street,” the movie starlet’s dad, Michael Lohan, confirmed to The Post.

“She’s not hurt. That’s all I really care about,” Lohan said of his oldest daughter.

There was no 911 call and police have no record of the incident, but Li-Lo was taken to Beth Israel Medical Center, treated and released at 4 a.m., according to a hospital employee.

The “Herbie Fully Loaded” star has a history of motor-vehicle woes. In August 2007 she made a plea deal on misdemeanor drunken-driving and cocaine charges that involved two separate busts.

Her first DUI arrest came in May 2007 after she crashed her Mercedes in LA after a wild night of partying.

Lindsay Lohan’s parents said reports of the troubled actress’s weekend hospitalization after a motorcycle allegedly clipped her is a bunch of “bull doodie.”

“Dina said it was just gossip. I don’t think that anything actually happened,” Lindsay’s father, Michael Lohan, said after speaking to his ex-wife, Dina, yesterday.

The Post reported yesterday that Lindsay was hospitalized after a motorcyclist sideswiped her outside a club on 32nd Street.

An employee at Beth Israel Medical Center confirmed to The Post that someone named Lindsay Lohan had been there.

But Li-Lo says no-no.

“I asked her and she said it didn’t happen,” said Lindsay’s publicist, Leslie Sloane. “She says she wasn’t [at the hospital].” He added, “Dina said it’s a bunch of bull doodie.”

“When I heard what happened, I texted her and she wrote back and said, ‘I’m fine, Daddy,’ ” said Michael.
