Brooke Hogan: Nick in Jail Has 'Broken His Spirit'

Nick Hogan's time in jail and especially his time in solitary confinement has "broken his spirit," his sister Brooke Hogan tells People.com.

"When they put him in solitary, he was on the outs," she says of his 28-day experience, in which he reportedly rapidly lost weight. "I was worried about him, and his safety, and his well-being."

"His personality is slowly coming back," Brooke says, adding that her family gets to visit Nick three times a week now, but "it sucks" because, "I can't just walk over to his room and give him a hug, or talk to him, or confide in him."

The just-turned-18 son of Hulk Hogan is serving an eight-month sentence in jail for reckless driving that led to a car accident in Clearwater, FL last August. Nick's good friend John Graziano was seriously incapacitated by the crash.

  • I have zero sympathy for this idiot. If jail time is what it takes to knock some sense into that stupid looking fauxhawk of his, then so be it.

    • You sir are the idiot. None of this would have EVER happened if Nick wasn't driving like a psychopath down the road.

What if he had hit a family of four and killed the children in the crash? Would you still care about nick more than the victim...

    • Who are you, Terry Bollea?

But seriously, what part of the phrase "reckless driving that led to a car accident" do you not understand?

  • I wonder how many times he has been buttraped.
Don't drop the soap, Nick, unless you want to be buttraped.

  • ...and? You expect us to cry and feel sorry for someone who was guilty of reckless driving (not the first time) and caused his friend's life-ruining injuries? He was an idiot, he caused an accident, and now he's been found guilty in a court of law...
