Luke Perry to Guest on "Law & Order: SVU"

He might not be returning to his famed Beverly Hills stomping ground on "90210," but Luke Perry is making his way back to the small screen nonetheless on Law & Order: SVU.

Entertainment Weekly says Perry will guest on the crime series' September 23 season premiere, reportedly playing one-half of a foster-parent couple suspected of abusing their child.

EW says the hotly anticipated episode will also feature guest stars Sara Gilbert ("ER") and Julie Bowen ("Lost").
