New John McCain Ad: Barack Compared to Britney & Paris!

Barack Obama shoots back today at John McCain in a new TV ad called "Low Road." The spot calls McCain out on what the Obama campaign describes as "false attacks and failed policies" after the Republican candidate compared his opponent's so-called celebrity status to such Hollywood tabloid targets as Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. What do you think about McCain comparing Obama to Britney and Paris? The new Obama ad released today does not specifically address McCain's spot, which opened with brief camera flashes and photos of Paris and Britney and called the Democratic candidate "the world's biggest celebrity." In the McCain ad, a narrator is also heard asking about Obama, "but is he ready to lead?" 

In an MSNBC video interview, the presidential hopeful diplomatically put the kibosh on McCain's ad, saying, "I don't pay attention to what McCain says." Obama told an MSNBC reporter when asked about the ad, "although I do notice that he doesn't seem to have anything very positive to say about himself, does he?"
