See More... With a new CD and a successful tour, The Jonas Brothers are on top of the world -- but their meteoric success was almost sidelined when Nick Jonas was told the gut-wrenching news that he had diabetes.

Tonight, "20/20" has an all-access pass behind the scenes of everything Jonas -- and "The Insider" has an exclusive first look!

"I went in to the doctor -- my lifelong pediatrician," explains Nick of his life-changing news. "She heard my symptoms and had this look on her face and just said, 'Okay, we're going to need to test your blood sugar.' And I was like, 'Huh, which finger, you know? Because I play guitar, so I'm going to make sure I don't do these things that are going to hurt me.' And she's like, 'It doesn't matter.'"

Once the blood test came in, Nick learned that he would be living with diabetes.

"Surely enough, my blood sugar was over 700; normal's about 70 to 120, so it was a lot higher than it should have been."

Airing at 10pm on ABC, “20/20” correspondent Juju Chang gets personal with Nick, 15, Joe, 18, and Kevin, 20, to discuss fame, music, rumored romances and coping with Nick's illness.

well i have the same thing iv had it 4 a year now but if you keep up wit you blood sugar you wont have a problem...plus you eat right you'll be of in your meds. in I don't no how many day but you will get through it ...trust me i had to learn the hard way..i had to senp a whole week in the hospital on summer break. But you'll get through it ill pray 4 you! No doubt...And I love yall music...Stay Healthy!!!! Love you

Hey JoBros, my name is micole im 16 and live in colorado i went to your concert at fidderlersgreen. Anyways its sad about the diabetes cause i just found out my sister has diabetes. Its the hardest thing seeing my 11 year old sister go though this and i love mick shares this with the fans it shows that hey your human and even though you are a big shot and everyone knows your name your still not perfect and i could just met u o could tell my whole world and u as me it would be a dream to met u . And that song a little longer your right no one knows how u feel my dad passed away and people gp"i know how u feel" but they dont know one knows how u feel its just u they might no how it feel nut not know , Nick you are my role model you show me to stick my head up even if it keeps falling down. You 3 are amazing! plus your littl;e bro franky

hey nick. im lidia, and 16, and from chicago.
my mom has diabetes too, except she's type 2. so i know my way around diabetes. but i just have a quick question.
why did you choose to use the pod, instead of using the pen? is it easier? write back if you can..and good luck. with everything!

Why did he date Miley cyrus she took those pictures. I thought he was different then most guys so come on why would he date her. Im 15 years old. I think your the coolest person to.
