David and Victoria Beckham Are Homeless

David and Victoria Beckham can't find a home in LA. And it's not because they can't find something they like, or because their budget isn't big enough (hello, haven't you heard about David's 5 year, $250 million dollar deal with the LA Galaxy soccer team?). They just don't want to get ripped off. And we don't blame them.

Yes, they have oodles and oodles of cash but is that a reason for mansion owners to jack up the price? When sellers find out the Beckhams want to buy, the asking price skyrockets. We must admit that we're not super fond of Posh Spice but it is refreshing to see they know when to draw the line.

We think they're being extra picky because their new house will be the setting for Victoria's six-part reality show. No title yet but we can only imagine what drama a British, anorexic, ex-Spice Girl will bring to our screens.

Maybe they can buy Ellen DeGeneres $24 million dollar mansion (she just put it on the market)? Montecito's not exactly Beverly Hills but at least they'd be neighbors with Oprah. Not too shabby.

Do you think it's fair to hike up home prices just because the buyers are rich celebs? Or is it ok because they can afford it, and are ridiculously overpaid anyway?
