Mary Kate Olsen is Probably Guilty of Something.

Good thing I’m not on this jury because otherwise Mary Kate would be going away for a long time, even though she isn’t charge with anything…yet. When asked to give information to the FBI regarding actor Heath Ledger’s death, Mark Kate Olsen refused to co operate unless she was granted full immunity. This means she may or may not have relevant information, but definitely knows something that could see her put in the slammer (or so 12 years of watching Law & Order has taught me.)

The Associated Press reports that a DEA official confirmed that Mary Kate wants “immunity from prosecution before speaking to the Drug Enforcement Administration.” Though nothing has been granted yet, they state that “Authorities have obtained a subpoena that could force Olsen to appear before a grand jury if negotiations with her lawyer fail, the official said”

In defense of these allegations, Olsen’s lawyer released a statement to the media that said “We have provided the government with relevant information including facts in the chronology of events surrounding Mr. Ledger’s death and the fact that Ms. Olsen does not know the source of the drugs Mr. Ledger consumed.”

So she knows everything else about Heath Ledger’s death expect specifically where he got his drugs. Just because you don’t know the exact street corner the exchange took place doesn’t mean you get off scot free MK.
