Stalker Arrested at Tom Cruise's House
The crazy lady in question is Emily Leatherman, a 32-year-old transient woman who showed up at Tom's Beverly Hills home this week. Security called the cops and she's now behind bars for violating a restraining order that Tom had against her.
Some might argue that showing up on a star's doorstep isn't grounds for being labeled a psycho. But the fact that she chose A-list wack-job Tom Cruise to worship is. Though maybe she was just trying to do what so many other people have talked about for the last year – rescue Katie Holmes.
While John Cusack hasn't had a stalk-worthy movie in a while (*Must Love Dogs*, anyone?), he also has a restraining order against the obsessed fan. Apparently, she made a habit of throwing love letters into his yard with rocks and screwdrivers attached. You know, just in case he needed to assemble a barricade while reading her long, rambling prose.
It's rare that Tom Cruise appears in a story with someone crazier than he is, but we'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one. Here's hoping that Emily Leatherman gets some help, and that it's not from Xenu.
